Energized By the Sun, Neutralizing Our Carbon Footprint.

Under our sustainability vision as Akkim, we are introducing and realizing substantial important investment. The construction of our Solar Power Plant (SPP) in Palu, Elazığ, with an area of 64,576 m² and a power generation capacity of 6.26 MWp, has been completed.

We will now source 100% of the energy we use in production from renewable sources. We will reduce our carbon footprint in energy usage to zero.

Due to this project, we will achieve a significant environmental benefit by preventing approximately 6,451 tons of greenhouse gas emissions annually. This value will have an impact equivalent to removing 5,314 vehicles from traffic, or restoring 286,712 trees to nature.

As Akkim Construction Chemicals, with this investment, we will strengthen our sustainable production approach while fulfilling our responsibility toward the environment and society in a solid and robust manner.
