Akkim Construction Chemicals has been awarded with two substantial rewards in 2021 Stars of Export granted by Istanbul Chemicals and Chemical Products Exporters’ Association. Just like in the previous years, the export champion of Turkey in the categories of Adhesives and Glues as well as the Paint and Varnish products is not changed.
Based on the export figures of the year 2021, Akkim Yapı Kimyasalları has become the biggest export of Turkey and sector leader in two different categories as the category of Adhesives and Glues and Paint and Varnish products.
Mr. Hazreti Akdemir, Chairperson of the Board of Directors of Akkim Yapı Kimyasalları, was awarded with champion prize by Mr. İsmail Gülle, President of Turkish Exporters’ Assembly and Mr. Mehmet Fatih Kaçır, Deputy Minister of Ministry of Industry and Technology.
Received the prizes on behalf of Akkim employees and management, Mr. Hazreti Akdemir, Chairperson of the Board of Directors, has stated, “ We are having the justified pride of being the export champion in two different categories. Currently, our products are preferred in over 100 countries in seven continents within hundreds of thousands of areas of application. We are the market leader in certain countries and ranked near the top in some. We have been progressing swiftly to become the global brand of Turkey in this respective field. We shall continue to produce value for our country’s economy with our exports.”
Mr, Rıza Tuna Turagay, Deputy Minister of Trade, Mr. Mehmet Fatih Kaçır, Deputy Minister of Ministry of Industry and Technology as well as the presidents of exporter’s associations and sector representatives have attended the award ceremony.
