Akkim Construction Chemicals is awarded with two substantial rewards in exports

Akkim Construction Chemicals has been crowned as Turkey’s export champion for the year 2020 within the category of “Paint, Lacquer and Inks”. The corporation has been ranked second most exporting corporation within the category Adhesive and Glue Products. 

Akkim Construction Chemicals has been awarded with two substantial rewards in two different categories in 2020 Stars of Export granted by Istanbul Chemicals and Chemical Products Exporters’ Association (İKMİB). The corporation has been crowned as the export champion in the category of Paint, Lacquer and Ink products and ranked second most exporting corporation within the category Adhesive and Glue Products. 

Enterprises with the highest sales figures in the year 2020 within the chemical sector with substantial margin in Turkey’s total exports have been awarded accordingly. Mr. Hazreti Akdemir, Chairperson of the Board of Directors, received the awards on behalf of Akkim Construction Chemicals. 

Addressing that the entire country economies have been facing quite a challenging period in 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Mr. Akdemir has further stated, “we have continued to manufacture, export and endeavor under the challenging pandemic conditions. We have uninterruptedly sustained our manufacturing process, thanks to the rapid measures and precautions we have taken against the pandemic and the flexible business models we have adopted. We have endeavored to respond to the requirements of our entire global and local customers. We have not failed to produce solutions for our customers relying on our brands and products. Consequently, we have reached a substantial exports figure in the year 2020.”

Stating that they have exported to more than 100 countries in five continents as among Turkey’s global brands in the area of construction chemicals, Mr. Akdemir further said, “I would like to have this opportunity to extend my gratitude and thanks to our employees focusing on doing the best to achieve this success, our customers that have never ceased to reply upon us, our dealers, distributors and the suppliers. I am confident that we shall achieve further successes together.”
