Akkim Construction Chemicals, Turkey’s Adhesive Products Export Champion

Exporting to 112 countries, Akkim Construction Chemicals is ranked first in Turkey for 2017 in exports of Adhesive and Cement Products.

Based on the data of Turkish Exporters Assembly, Akkim Construction Chemicals was ranked number one of Turkey’s exports for 2017 within the category of Adhesives, Cements and Enzymes.

Hazreti Akdemir, Chairman of Board of Directors of Akkim Construction Chemicals has received the first prize by Fatih Metin, Deputy-Minister of Economy and Mehmet Büyükekşi, Chairman of Turkish Exports Assembly in the award ceremony held on Tuesday, April 3, 2018.

Hazreti Akdemir, stating that they have been increasing their exports each year and making substantial investments to reach more countries, further said, “We have taken concrete and significant steps in developing innovative products and technologies by establishing R&D center in late 2017. We have become the first enterprise within our sector receiving R&D center certificate from the Ministry of Science, Industry and technology. Announcing 2018 as the year of Innovation and Enterprise, we have placed emphasize on pace, technology, innovation, efficiency and added value within our entire business processes. We have further initiated our endeavors for Industry 4.0 for our entire manufacturing and management system to have more integrated structure.”

Akkim Construction Chemicals, receiving not only its first prize in Adhesive and Cement Exports but also third prize in Exports within the category of Coatings, Lacquers and Preparations, further strengthens its claim to be the “Global Power of Growing Turkey” by means of these two substantial rewards.

Exporting to 112 countries in five continents and operating with local offices in 30 countries, Akkim Construction Chemicals is engaged in manufacturing adhesives, joint sealants, polyurethane foams, technical aerosols and surface coating systems for water and heat insulation purposes.
